On 12 March 1943, a letter to the editor appeared in The New York Times. Felix J. Weil described the advantages of Argentina’s tax system. Yet it seems that apart from the content, some remote events found a distant echo: For the first time in a text, Weil no longer signed his name as »Felix Weil,« but as »Felix J. Weil.«
